Christmas Catch'em Review – Fun Christmassy Game
BongoBoo Games released the Christmas Catch’em game this December, with only a few days to spare until Christmas, and in my humble opinion you would do well to go get the game and enjoy it on your iDevice. You can enjoy this colorful and fun game on your iPhone and on your iPad – after you purchase it from the App Store for the very affordable price of 99 cents (the app’s price at the time of writing this).
“But George, what do I have to do in this game?” some of you are thinking right about now. The aim in the game is to catch the cute singing characters that fall from above. Christmas presents, stockings, bells, puddings and trees fall from the sky and it is your job to catch them. The catch is (you were expecting a catch, right?) that you have to make sure the falling characters end up in the right slot. The present must fall in the present slot, the stocking in the stocking slot, and so on.
Manage to catch 20 falling characters in the correct slot and you will make it to the bonus round. By playing the bonus round you will have the chance to earn a lot of points and thus get a high score that you can be proud of.
What you have to appreciate about this game is the audiovisual cuteness. The falling characters are quite good looking and they like to sing; and the slots like to sing as well.
There are a couple more things I need to tell you about the Christmas Catch’em game and then I’ll be done:
- There are three difficulty levels to choose from.
- Get a falling character into the wrong slot and the water will rise even faster. Yes, the water is constantly rising in this game.
